So then (there truth revealed)
your not talking about a 150quid update as you dont have a std P38 instalation
fess up what did your Alpine multi media set-up cst iam darn sure a little more then the my update for 100 pound when you are speaking of just using a ipod - you didnt mention it was connected to a milti media bsides that iam a little suppised that you media centre wasnt MP3 compatable as the JVC i bought - i bought just because i could load a DVD full of mp3 music & use it as a "juebox
as you can see from my original thread i put in a JVC dvd player and in the end found it was too complicated to use even with the RR steering wheel remote.
I in-the-end removed it and went back to the OEM alpine set up
my suggestion all along was as a addition to the OEM set-up avoiding paying excessive amounts for a MP3 compatable rear located CD changer.
admittadly almost any CD changer can be linked to the OEM head unit via a Fm modulator.
But my intention was to source a relatively / inexpensive up grade to the alpine OEM set-up
at present with the grundig option i have
all the origianal functionallity of the OEM set-up incl cassette facility (god knows why) plus a large MP3 /WMA juke box
PLUS the original Alpine head unit which although has a cassette is still very easy to use "tactile at speed"
cheers
