Hi Guys,

My uncle Tony had a bit of a rush of blood at the start of December and decided to buy a 90 Defender tdi on an N Reg.
The mileage is around 62/63k
He finds the steering is too heavy for him and has mobility problems and finds it difficult mounting the beast. He paid £12k for it. Do you think he’ll get his money back if he were to sell it?

Hi and welcome!

£12k is overpriced in my opinion, unless it’s got a galvanised chassis and had lots spent on it. Check out eBay and autotrader for similar aged vehicles to see what they go for.

The steering is not heavy on these vehicles. Has he had it checked to make sure it’s working okay?

Get some extra security on it anorl. Tratters are easily nicked. Be careful where yer park it.
