Went in to get a replacement clamp for my D3 expedition roofrack. 5 minutes of computer tapping later... "can't just do that part, you'll have to buy a new rack, that'll be £1400 +vat, how would you like to pay"

I got off ebay for £50 on monday. it had no feet.
I just made 6 feet for it with a piece of 4mm thick steel from B&Q for £5.70.

got enough left over to make that foot for ya ...and i'll under cut your dealer in price... shall we say a straight grand for it?

I see you're a fellow Spitfire owner

I assume you are referring to channel clamps for a D1 or 2 and not a rail mount system for a D3? I should be able to weld it... just annoying that LR are so ****
