Can't say I do know Rory, I've seen 'George' from your posts and I don't recall seeing it around 'o'er ere', but I don't usually look at pre 2002, I only look at the ones with side gills, coz they are the bestest imo;)

Ha ha ha, bloody footballer :p

George is well noticeable coz she's gorgeous :D

That'll be the issue then. Did someone suggest that right near the start of the issues?

Not sure! I mean, it's not every day you get a hole in the exhaust aimed just right to melt a feckin air line

Could only happen to me :p

But the misfire from a while back looks to be solved aswell o_O

Aye that Benter Grayson was funny I'll admit but I didn't believe for one minute he knew how to operate a floodgate......

On a lighter note, the makeup artist responsible here should be shot.
Women glow, horses sweat....Isla over empahsizes 'June'.

I may have had a bit of a crush on her when I was a lad

She was pretty and fae my part o the world :)

Me too, but with only 3 channels we were not exactly spoiled for choice.

I remember twitching over Sandy Tochvic. There's only a 15 in 1 chance she'd have me now, and 100 in 1 chance I'd even bother:cool:

Give me Agnita any day.

I thought all they talked about in there was MI-BF f.

(Manhood inch - Bonnet Feet formula)
I had a a problem once with an xj40 engine over pressurising the oil system, posted and I may have been talking Swahili. Turned out the steel collar that the pressure relief valve slides in had come loose in the aluminium casting. When the pressure operated the valve it also pushed up the collar so the holes that should have bled off the pressure remained covered.I never did post what I found.

Now, see I "would" have posted that I found the problem and added... "But since yo biatches too facking posh to even read my problem, I ain't never gonna tell. Pity, it's a beezer! ;)"

:p

:D

Their pipe & slippers would go off after reading that. The horses would be saddled & the hounds set loose o_O:D:p

I can't be arsed when no one takes you on. But, trouble is with some forums, it's full of neds in shit cars with no actual clue (the "should of" brigade) or really rich wanna be's who got the gear and no idea, but can't actually afford to repair it...

What was the flavour again? :D

Anyway, back on track... Exhaust ordered. 120 quid through mates account for both back boxes ;)

Here's how I kept George afloat while tried to figure what the hell was wrong:

Here's the cause of all the consternation! o_O

Must have been getting a rare cooking under there

But here she is standing proud once more...

I would like to say a MASSSSIVE thank you to all for their help in whatever form. You are all undoubtedly gods of some description in your own special ways. I wouldn't have known where to start. However, now, I am a belt & braces Land Rover/Range Rover fixer upper who is not scared to tackle the scary job that is EAS

I too, am awesome in my own head :p

:D

Seriously, thanks guys & gals, love you all :)

Fair play Doo, and all other posters on this thread. I had to go well back in time and well out of my way to source a rangie I had even a dogs chance of fixing myself. Even then I've had a merry dance fixing a duff heater motor, the annoying thing being that I had so much of the dash and electrics scattered about the inside I did'nt dare reconnect the batteries until I'd changed/tested a whole lot of it, so still not 100% sure what the problem was.

Well done Doo.LOOKs ALMOST AS GOOD AS MINE,the car that is,,:pO and thanks for the gaffa tape sticking me to the steeeering wheel.. should have put it on yer pipe :D.....put a wee bit gum gum on exhaust see if miss fire goes away:eek:...

Ha ha, I think a BIG bit of gun gum couldn't even fix that! I pulled it clean off and plonked it in the bin. The new back boxes arrive Monday....thinking on removing the centre box and replacing it with a straight pipe. The effect would be a gorgeous V8 grumble when the foot is down. Then I wouldn't need the stereo as the music off of those back pipes would be enough

Thoughts??
