You'll get 10 years road tax from the difference in sale and purchase price !!
Yes, all of those points are valid. But I'll be able to fix it, not as much electronics to worry about and in 3 years time it'll be a classic, if I live another 3 years that is lol
Yeti not worth a lotYou'll get 10 years road tax from the difference in sale and purchase price !!
That is so fecking totally mental and stupid.Just checked road tax and it's 395 quid (Yeti is 30)
Kill ell mate, how much !!
8 x 130 = over 1,000 kms. @ 130kmh. You've got a fecking big aftermarket fuel tank on that baby.We got a 2006 td4 Freelander 1 great car looks good parts not expensive just use as a car have not put tow bar on it and might use it for going up a dirt track and that's all. The td5 disco would pull 3.5 tons off road no problem, but the Freelander will run for 8 hours at 130 kmh and use well under a tank of fuel if it meets what you want then a go option
Down here, I couldn't buy a 10 year old Yeti for under £5k, and at that amount, it would be a pile of rubbish.Yeti not worth a lot
Got new cambelt and water pump though
It's a 62 plate so be lucky to get 2k for it
I've done over 600 miles on a single tank in my FL2 but it has the advantage of a 15 gallon tank. However if I was to drive it at 80 MPH, I'd be lucky to see 450 miles out of those 15 gallons. 65 MPH is the sweet spot for economy in my FL2, where it does about 45 MPG.8 x 130 = over 1,000 kms. @ 130kmh. Blimey !Down here, I couldn't buy a 10 year old Yeti for under £5k, and at that amount, it would be a pile of rubbish.
Hi yes, you are right took it on holiday this week took us 8 hours to get here and was doing 130 kmh a lot of the time, but not all the time think we did about 650 km tank was not 100% full so at 7l per 100km would be 45L think tank is about 59l 7 L per 100 is good very good for motorways, may have used a bit more, last time I checked it on a run was getting close to 6L per 100 but was on good roads and the limit here is 80kmh on normal roads and I do try to keep to it I find it very good on fuel8 x 130 = over 1,000 kms. @ 130kmh. You've got a fecking big aftermarket fuel tank on that baby.
Honestly the 1.8 K with the PG1 gearbox is honestly shít gutless and the gearbox is hopeless, if you want one get the TD4Tempting

I had a 2.0 diesel when they first came out and it was okay but the one we have now, td4 drives so much better I know there is more to go wrong but there is space to work on it, no timing belt lots of info on line and here about problems, I would buy a well looked after late td4Honestly the 1.8 K with the PG1 gearbox is honestly shít gutless and the gearbox is hopeless, if you want one get the TD4
Or a Rav 4
Becoming more of a problem with old cars.Just checked road tax and it's 395 quid (Yeti is 30)
Because I am but a thick stoopid furriner.....Becoming more of a problem with old cars.
I just paid £365 for tax on my Mondeo. Not that worried about it, as I didn't pay anything for the car.
But the tax on my wife's 10 year old (I think) Fiat Qubo is only a bit over 100 quid, and there isn't much difference in carrying capacity.
I am not sure. But I think it is to do with the way the Government has changed the tax classes over the years.Because I am but a thick stoopid furriner.....
WTF are some cars 400 quids and others about the cost of a packet of fags?
Fairly simple and concise explanation here. Not much has changed really!Because I am but a thick stoopid furriner.....

Posh gitThings were so much easier when just a multimeter was all that was needed to test vehicle electrics.
My Freelander 2 TD4 was £60 cheaper to tax than my previous Freelander 1 TD4, which make no sense, but then taxes rarely do.Because I am but a thick stoopid furriner.....
