Think ford ran it in some strange named 4x4?
Iirc D3 chassis also copied from another car maker?
Same 2.7 engine in Jag/Peugeo/Citroen, all makes suffer the same ailments ie snappy cranky/spinny shells.
Engine went in loads. Don't know about D3 other than a mate had one (and a D4) and it heavy as f*ck but went like stink for a 3.0L diesel and was lovely to drive until the crank snapped. Don't rrcall the cranks snapping in the Jags but I do recall a plastic inlet manifold that used to warp and cause troubles. Jag had them on the shelf because they failed so often.
