So lets clear this up

The nylon in a tyre is in the form of a textile fabric which is bonded within the rubber and forms part of the tyre reinforcement
It does not just leak out of the tyre when it gets hot or on maltese roads.

If you actually get to see the nylon it probably means your tyre has failed ...........

To be Honest, when i did drift i wondered why. when i checked with a vulcaniser here he told me those tyres are nylon tyres. I'm not technical in tyres and i do bow my head to what you say as you sound more technical than me :)

So would think these apollos are worth a try? i really do not know to be honest. Maybe it's because it's not a famous brand here in Malta. On the other hand, IMHO, tyres and brakes are worth the whole vehicle and your life so....

To me it would be down to grip in the wet. Most tyres will be OK in the dry.

But you have a lot less wet, rainy days they in the UK - one day in three in the UK - although sometimes it seems like everyday.

I would expect budget tyres to have a shorter life though.

It's gamble with the unknown - I can't find any reviews of any Apollo tyres at all.

SV.

Apollo are also making (or selling) Maloya and more recently they own Vredestein

Dont know Maloya however.

Best way to find out about Apollo performance is to ask a competitor maybe :)

I think i'll go for the brands i already know have a good track record...I do not want to sound selfish but since they are new in Malta & they're still getting to know em, i do not want to be the guinea pig with that. Thanks for all your opinions :)
