Directional tyres will have DIRECTIONAL written on the side of at least a very obvious arrow. You might have to check both sidewalls as might only be on one
Thanks I might be best to take one off and look at the inner side wall … it’s just the tread on near side angles towards the back of the car and on the offside angles towards the front which seemed off to me, not to have a mirror image on both sides of the car

Proper Tire Care

I rotated the directional Geolanders every 5,000 miles, front-to-rear, so they would wear evenly. I kept tire pressures at 32 psi, which provided the best ride and handling for my application.

Make sure they are exactly the same tyre.

Check any batch numbers and ANY difference in the markings on the side walls.

What appears the same, isn't necessarily the same...

He had 4 'identical' tyres fitted, but from that thread, on closer inspection, they weren't...

All 4 tyres were fitted at the same time they are Goodyear Efficientgrip, looking at them 2 say SUV 4x4 but other 2 only say SUV but tread etc look the same

It was enough to completely screw the transmission.

Ok - but Geolanders GO15 are NOT directional.

Tyre match and even wear is super-important on an F1 due to the VCU system (assuming it’s all connected and the prop is fitted) So, on an F1, if ever you want/need to run the spare, you need to ensure it has similar wear to the other 4, hence rotating all 5 (I just did clockwise, starting at the drivers door each time.

You have an F2, which are little more forgiving as they use Haldex. I still have matching tyres on my F2, and will continue this, but I don’t rotate the spare into them.

Thanks all for all the helpful replies, they are much appreciated. I took off the front pair today no markings about directional all the writing on both appears identical so it must be simply the tread pattern as designed, so although looking a bit odd I think I’m just going to accept that’s they are ok as I do 10 to 12K miles a year, I’ll probably decide to rotate them 5 to 6K miles and see how it goes, I’ll be sure to update here if anything of note comes up.

Once again thanks all for the replies
