Anything I should be aware of ..... Hose change&EGR mod

Well If Im gonna do it, may as well do it properly then! But all the kits I can find for it seem to be for the FL1 TD4... anyone know if this will fit a 2003 1.8 K series? Are they just a one size fits all jobby but the TD4 is the most common version of the FL1?

Its ****ing down with rain at the moment so I dont wanna go taking bits off my engine trying to find my EGR valve to see if it looks the same, and then turns out to be a little bit differant!

I have no idea about the 1.8, so cannot comment, we all have TD4's that have done the mod.

Blanking=bypass on the TD4.

Basically a bit of tube with a 2p piece size of metal to blank off the exhaust side and a solid spigot to attach the vacuum hose to.

Looked in the Haynes today , looks as if the 1.8 petrol does not have an egr system
