If you have PM me...
I don't think the plate underneath is correct, the last part looks like it has been messed with. The 'I' in 'IAL' looks like another letter with part taped over to me.
Looks very dodgy, hope it's not nicked
Edit - just put those plates into euro car parts site and...
X33 KAB comes up as a defender TD5 - that isn't a TD5 is it?
L90 IAL isn't registered to anything so may not exist!
The "sticker" bit is the double sided tape in all four corners designed to hold the other number plate on.
I am not expert enough to tell you if it was a TD5 or not - he hit 80 at one point though, so, it wasn;t a 2.5N/A!!!
The fact that the L90 IAL isn't registered makes it more confusing though - if it also was a blue 90 i'd be straight onto the police, but, as it's not registered it goes back to maybe they were new plates not quite registered yet...
Driver looked "normal" - i know this is a huge streotype but, he wasn't your typical "thug" you see in the paper when people are done for landy theft...
L90 JAL no data found the plate is on retention at dvla
X33KAB is a blue td5 2001 the defender in picture is also a td5
Probably selling the 90 and keeping his private plate an couldn't be bothered to unscrew the old plate till time of sale
Just noticed the round tail lights which would indicate it's a TD5. You're probably right about the private plate
Could the swinging plate be obscuring another digit? I can just see the start of another digit upright
Maybe L901 JAL or L904 JAL something?
No, the plate fell off whilst I was behind him... It was defo L90
The J or I are up for dispute but the rest was AL
Oh ok didn't realise that soz!
