Anyone know a good Land Rover mechanic ?

I need to get my 2003 Discovery TD5 tested for either head gasket or oil cooler. Does anyone know a good Land Rover garage in the Milton Keynes / Northampton area. Am fed up with being ripped off by Stratstone at Newport Pagnell ! Thanks. Paul

What exactly is the problem ?

Autoland in Houghton regis is well respected as far as I know, I cannot comment on "personal" experience as I do all my maintenance myself, but I have never heard a bad thing about them

Rockingham Landrover at corby have a very good reputation and if im stuck for doing a job they are my first port of call

I have used Joe Edwards in Leighton Buzzard. A different garage told me I needed brake pads and discs all round. JE said the discs would last another year.

I started using Ray and company at Rockingham and so far I am very pleased with them. They take the time to explain to me (neophyte mechanic) what the issue was with the vehicel, and make recommendations on things I can do myself.

Anyone know a good Land Rover mechanic ?
