Anyone fitted a Griffin S/S exhaust

I'm looking at fitting a new exhaust as my old one is the original and starting to crack, I'd like a stainless one, there seems to be several on the market, Janspeed full system at £400, then 2 from Double S - £200 full sports and £400 with CAT, then a couple from Griffin, sports at £299, std at £400.
Has anyone fitted a full system and what type? Is it OK to fit a sports system, would it go through an MOT easy enough?

Any advice would be great.

yes but not on yr 1st post and without introducing yrself in the intro section

we get so many 1 post wonders who make a post get the answer to there problem and are never seen again

we also get people who sign up just to sell there tat,theres now a post limit on being able to post things for sale.

OK, point taken, I'm not one of those though, honest!
I've just bought my first Defender, love it to bits but would like to do a few things to it, exhaust, side steps, wheels, sort the poor paintwork on the side panels out, a bar, a few bits here and there, sometimes a good bit of advice could save lots of messing about.
I've been a member of many forums and have often ended up replying to questions rather than asking, mainly to do with motorbike racing though, mainly Triumph 675's, but that came to an abrupt halt a little while ago.

stick around fella theres agreat deal of info on ere.

if ya want my opinion spend yr money on other parts before the zorst tho

my fender had a straight thru zorst and ive just done my disco cost me £47 in parts

Standard down pipe cut after the flexi then weld straight pipe as far back as you want to go, then bend into shape and weld tabs on for rubbers.

Hi, I recently visited one of the exhaust outlets for a quote on the rear two sections for my 1989 TD and they quoted me, wait for it, £170. Needles to say I said no and walked.

I have just purchased said sections together with all the bits to fit them for £65. Ok, I have to fit it but that's why I bought my 90. I wanted to get involved and more modern vehicles are a nightmare to work on.

Is it worth fitting a stainless or stick to the O/E do you think?
 
Got stainless on mine fitted by previous owner its vnice quality seamed silencer joins etc, BUT its going rusty especially the pipework, there are different types of stainless steel, nice as it hopefully wont drop off, but im tight so would buy std or make on as said above.
