If you look at symptoms and write a few down, when you go have a look at one you'll know what to look for .

all landys are fun.alot of info on problem after problem in search which is worrying,cheers for the replys well most anyway. friendly lot arent they some of them haha strange how they spend there time writing to slag someone off when they could of spent that time providing some useful info.
oh forgot they dont know much useful info.
hope i dont turn out as deranged as some of the other pc heroes on here, it must come from years of owning rovers and having empty heads and empty pockets
so after all that you get pluck up the energy to search - and bugger me looks like you've found something usefull
maybe if you'd have spent more time searching and not asking for it on a plate you might have found even more info

Maybe if you had a look around the site, you'd get a general idea of what goes on and maybe pick up a few tips on how to do things. if you followed the advice I posted like looking in the RR section you'd have an idea of what you're letting yourself in for. If I imagined a world without search, I'd be running around like a headless chicken looking in books/brochures/magazines, stopping every RR driver I saw and asking loads of mechanics what to expect.
If I was going to buy a range rover, I'd like to find out as much info as I could and possibly running costs/ parts etc

Not all we still don't know what terrible events in your life made you such a ****ing ****er.
no it should be full of people willing to share there knowledge and give general advice, obviously i wasnt looking for a complete a to z guide.
just some of the main problems to look out for, usually when looking at other makes in the past there has been in general between 4/5 main items to look out for and then the general things that everybody knows about (brakes,exhaust,service history,electrics,damage repaired,rust,ringed car,hpi etc etc)
there is usually a few things that are car/model specific to look out for, thats what i was looking for not every single thing to check.
and defanutly not a load of idiots itching to type when they want to try and intimidate somebody from the comfort of there pc.
