SHUDA****UPORILLRIPYERHEADORFAND****INYERNECK!
except for one bloke who decided he would walk in the middle of the lane to stop us passing, he continued to walk a few yards and then stop and turn round and glare at us as if we were the children of satan he continued to do this
What me and my good mate Ratty don't know about diffusing confrontations just aint worth knowing. Come on Ratty you go first
. Apparently if you want to post on their forum, they have to vet the post first (which can take days) to make sure you are not contradicting their official propoganda!
Re: Anti 4 x 4
Ha Ha.. sounds like I have some experiences to come... I have heard some nightmare stories about ramblers booby trapping lanes though. ALSO... being a fair minded sort of bloke I thought I would join the ramblers association to post on their forum in a fair and balanced manner (I love a good argument). They wouldn't let me join... didn't even tell me why. We parked at one end and walked up to look, noting that the 'farmer' had appeared in his truck and then drove away. By the time we had come up with our plan and walked back down loads of quad bikes and pick ups came up the lane with loads of farmer boys armed with shovels and bats. We were told to go or it would kick off!!!!!
That's to be expected - they have their roots in communism.
Which part of the country was this?
Cheers,
Maybe we should start protesting there presence on green lanes then. Then again we'd all lose them if that happened.
Main problem seems to be that Chavs are tearing theese places up and making us more responsible folk look bad.
Been looking at some lanes in north Wales for a trip later in the year, and have seen some of them have been torn up by stables using them for riding lessons....20 HORSES AT A TIME....so now they're unsuitable for 4x4's and horses.... And we get penalised for being in groups of more than about 6 vehicles
