Hi all you Landy lovers out there, I'm a forum virgin so be gentle with me.
I am looking for a tax exempt Land Rover and I pass one regularly parked up on the side of the road in my local travels. I confess here I don't know much about them but have always wanted one.
The vehicle in question is a long wheel base version and has been stood for about a year. It is K reg (73 series3?) and has had a Transit diesel conversion. It apparently was working fine but the starter motor has packed up.
When I chatted to the owner as to how much it was worth he just said they go for between £300 to a grand and that he was thinking of selling it. Condition of chassis and bulkhead unknown and it's covered in green algae!
How much should I offer him?
