Hi y'all,
I was sent a link to this site by someone who's just recently bought a bulkhead around the same time as me. I'd just like to say thanks cos it's a good 'un. I've been having a look around and quite impressed with what I've seen so far.
I'm currently drivin' a 110 200Tdi just now, did have a Freelander for a couple of years but decided to get summit a bit better;) and maybe get me up some bigger hills. I'm thinking of a respray, but can't decide on satin or gloss, and where the best place to get it from. I'm open to suggestions. I'd prefer any colour as long as it's green:D.
Huv fun,
Buster

How do lad. If your the Duckworths Ebay bloke It wer me. Seems bulkheads are the thing to do at the moment. Stick around and enjoy the goings on, It's livelier than Eastenders on here at times!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Grunt,
aye twas me with the Duckworths bulkhead, it finally came today:D . bin readin' sum o' the stuff in the forums and see wot you mean about lively, but wot's Eastenders? :).
Can ye tell me if the black stuff on the bulkhead ok to paint on, or will I need to rub it down and prime it first?
Cheers

Apparently they're sprayed electrostacically so it's the bees knees and ok to spray over, it'll still need a primer though. I was going to do mine this week but I'm getting held up doing the swivels.

Have you sussed out the modification to the transmission tunnel yet?

That's great, cheers fur that:D .
I've started to key the bulkhead with sum scotch brite pads just now, and got me paint ( forgot primer:( ) thinners, and panel wipe. Was going to start painting it this week anaw then thought there's no point if it has to be drilled and cut for tunnel. I'm takin' it to a local garage and they can have all the fun cos I'm a bit thick when it comes to things like that, I've managed to change a wing though:D .
