the wiring between the solenoid and winch came with it from the manufacturer,but as u say 2 motors cant be fooked..
its gotta be wiring somewhere but where?

Disconnect the motor from the solenoid, connect the + to F1 then short out A to F2, the motor will go one way, see if it gets hot.the wiring between the solenoid and winch came with it from the manufacturer,but as u say 2 motors cant be fooked..

Then connect the + to F2 and short out A to F1, the motor will go the other way. If this works ok its either the wiring ore the solenoid

Voltage drop on the longer cable to the rear is causing current draw to rise accordingly, more than the rated figure, as the smoking suggests. Larger cable required.

2 motors can be ####ed. Odds are its not but stranger stuff has happened.
I would also do a temp short run of cable from another battery to make sure it isnt the cable run. Then as TC said, process of elimination.
Use a known good motor? borrow your bow2? its surprising how much having a good flat clean connection can help aswell.

Got to be something like that, to draw enough current to make 50mm2 cable get hot is 'dobs of Amps'

What type of winch is it? If its the one with a drum brake you may find the brake is seized on with water and mud take of the drum knock out the brake clean up and replace.

bow 2 wont fit its splined output shaft and the other motor is like a square end that locates into a socket
