Hi Thought I'd pass this info on as I know good garages are as rare as hens teeth.
I'm on Anglesey for a couple of weeks and on the way over I noticed a slight increase in the transmission whine, also Gear changes have been getting a little clunky. So yesterday I took the disco into a small garage in Llanerchymedd, next door to L&J landrover parts. and asked him to top up the gearbox and transfer box and both diffs. For which he charged me the grand sum of £5. Judging from the number of cars in his yard he's a busy chap. Which is always a good sign.
He did say they get a lot of farmers bringing their landies in and been nextdoor to L&J's is convenient for parts. So if your on Anglesey and looking for a garage he may be worth a visit.
