will the 1995 range rover 2.5 diesel run on veg oil mix
The indirect injection BMW M51 engine is quite happy running on veg oil.
Been running mine on a 50/50% mix of SVO/diesel for about 18 months now.
Starts OK on a 50% mix but harder to start in the cold when using 75% SVO.
Mixing in the tank is the only problem. The method I use is to run the tank down to nearly empty, fill with 40 litres diesel at the garage then add 40L SVO back at home. Take it for a spin to let it slosh around and it is generally OK. The spill back helps mix it.
The in tank pump may pack in if you go over 50% in the cold weather.
That's almost the same price a pump diesel hereTesco has got 10 litre drums for £10 at the min

France, Filled up last week at €1.289 and my pension came in at €1.236 so that equals £1.04 a litreWhere abouts are you?!!!
only if you run a mix of 70% or overAre toy not meant to put some kind of heater in the mix? so as the fuel goes in it hears it up, and makes it thinner?
