Alloy wheels for classic's

What Alloy wheels can you put on a classic? I know about freestyles, but fancy somthing a bit more individual. Do deep dish or the simular fit. Is there a converter I can buy that would allow me to fit Alloys like the three spoke from the P38 series. I had air suspension, but not anymore. Fed up of the resets. springs are on now.

As far as i'm aware any alloys will fit, you may have to chose your tyres carefully, but the stud paterns are the same on all exept the td5 models.
I have some aftermarket deep dish type alloys on the disco and have considered swapping them for standard L/R wheels, due to the problems with clearance in the arches on the old disco's.

Well Maybe this might get me sorted with a set of deep dish and you with less to part with for the L/R standard wheels. Thats what I was thinkin?
Depends on what sort of money they are? If you do consider it.

best take a look and see if they are what you are after and i will see if i can see any to suit me.. Theres a few pics of my disco in the gallery, and i think in my profile too. i will try to post a pic of the wheels them selves.

What you need is s set of 22 inch with low profile tyres to go with your sh1t springs, that will really feck the car up

Simples - sorted the list by thread start date - found the very first thread ever posted in the Range Rover section and thought 'What the hell, lets necro-post that mo-fo!'

This isn’t correct.

Defender, Series, RRC and Discovery 1 all use the same PCD. P38 and Discovery 2 are different. Newer models D3/L322 onwards are the same PCD as P38/D2 but different centre bore size.

You can get adapters to run latter wheels on earlier hubs. You’ll need to check rim offset for fitment. RRC/D1 axles are slightly different to Defender. As a rule the centre hole of the alloy should fit the RRC/D1. But is too small on a Defender axle. So you might want to check the axles are still original.
