you are way behind being doing it since I owned it.
Doesn't need pre-mixing or any other bullsh!t, just pour 'em in .. they mix in the tank! This was what I did in the Disco 300 Tdi as well
And look what happened to that Out of all the people I know using the "off the back of a lorry" 20 litre oil drums, 50% of them have lost their landy's in fords... those kind of statistics are way too high for me to risk it
I've tried looking into this but it does my head in with so many different threads. Couldn't find the difinitive answer....will my 02 TD5 Disco 2 run on veggie oil? If anyone could answer that i'd leave them something in my will if I had anything to leave.
I wouldn't do it with anything newer than 300Tdi ... though Biodiesel is supposed to be OK.
Basically older engines and, more importantly, older fuel delivery systems should be OK .. anything using a computer and having loads of sensors and things I'd steer clear of and use 'proper' fuels ..
straight in, you may need to change the fuel filter as veg oil cleans all the systemYou guys using veg oil for fuel? do you have to change or add anything to the landy or can it go straight in?

If it's 300tdi engine or before (pretty much pre 1998 unless ex mod) you should be ok.
I have ran all my previous landys on various mixes of veg oil but was warned not to use any veg with anti foaming agents but that seems to work as well going by others on here.
