Ok a brake in the weather so the bumper came off, removed rear bumper wiring loom and inspected and done a continuity test all ok  so to eliminate this I replaced the loom (brand new).

So now its had a...

Brand new sensor
Brand new ECM
Brand new wiring loom

I also read/cleared all items on the all comms thinking something might be linked to it and it still comes up with rear left sensor fault .

Me thinking all comms faulty now, could it be the front end faulty so I pressed the button, beeper sounded and then flashing light, went to the front of the car and could only here one sensor ticking .

Could the all comms be faulty ?
Has it got to go to the stealers to have the faults read????

Please help as it might even have a gallon of petrol :D
saint what do you think...

Unlikely to be an All Comms issue I would have thought.

Seems odd that only one front sensor is heard ticking...and if this is the case, strange the All Comms hasn't picked up on this!

I can only think to check the continuity of the front loom as well!

Whilst the rear bumper/sensors have a known fault where the wire chaffs on the bumper....that is not to say it can't happen at the front also!

Trouble is, I think front end removal is a bit more involved than the rear!

It is known for the front cables to get chaffed on the front bumper too

Front bumper removal shouldn't take more than 20mins

Lights out
Grille out

Unbolt bumper then remove

Simples ;)

I think i will take it down the village garage and see what there diagnostic kit reads for the sake of a tenner...

Started on the PCD again today and done some little tests I removed the front and rear wiring loom plugs of the ECU (blue rear/ white front) pressed the button for the front to come on and put it in reverse for the rear to come on, and on all occasions the all comms did not identify this so I am at a total loss now, if anybody has the all comms could you try this it only takes a minute you can get straight on to the plugs.

Thanks for your help...

PS still no reply from storey.

Button activates the whole system...not just the front...in similar vain to the reverse selection...

When my girlfriend comes home around 7pm and the rain eases, i'll unplug the two looms and see what All Comms thinks of that...

Storey has just got back to me and he is looking into it, he said he has been busy with the cold weather in the states.

Cheers mate :)

Ok vid will be uploaded shortly for you!!
Thanks, Storey got back to me :-

Can you perform a communications session with the PCD again. “Open”, “Read Faults”, “Close”. Then go to the menu and select, “Export Logs”. Send me the Debug log file with todays date. I will take a look and see what is going on.

Let me know if you have any more questions.
Thanks

Which I have just done.....

Sorry for my delay in responding to this issue. I will try to get the All Comms debug log file from BUSAKAZ ASAP and get the log file interpreted. The PDC module is one of those very strange modules that did not conform to the vehicle diagnostic protocols to closely.

It could be that I am not interpreting the fault messages from the device correctly or there is a communications timing issue. Once I look at the log files, I will be able to see what is going on. If there is a problem with the All comms software, I will correct the issue and release an update.

Thanks,
Storey

Hi Storey,

Your time and input in assisting us not only with this issue, but in the development of the All Comms as a whole to make it available and affordable for the home DIY'er is hugely appreciated by us all.

Not only do you have a young family, but you have also selflessly given up your time for us, and for that I for one am truly grateful.

Ant.
