If you have a hard fault it needs clearing before relay can engage compressorThank you. knowledge is a good tool. lol. found it finally.
i did connect the compressor Manuel and is working.
it also blows the bags up. but taking the power of the compressor it looses the air again .still have this 35 mph max in the display. grrrhhh.
this relay in the fusebox - can it be any relay as there was none in the slot.
i put a normal 4 pin in/ but seems not to do anything. no clicking - nothing.
but it is working when i tested it.
fuse is fine.
or is this all related to the faultcode?
when i bought it and had to use the tyre compressor for a while to get the suspension on hight there was no fault coeds and it did drive. this all started when i put the replacement compressor in.
i also noticed the alarm illumination is flashing on overtime now/ or are the flashing fast com[pare to newer cars?
As I said, contact mozz smith.thanks. ok. so no point ordering anything for it and let it rust in the garden till i get this software and cable to reset. lol
i already lost interest. its raining and not running. lol.
best i try moving right in the far corner out the way till anything happen to it.
maybe my fault not to investigate properly before buying one.
like other make i dint even consider of too many problems.
so need to source this cable now.

A P38 with faults can be a nightmare as you are discovering. When sorted they can be reasonably good, but diagnostics seem to be essential.

Sounds like you have more problems than you think you have, buggering about when you don't know what you are doing makes things worse. Do you not have a friend with more knowledge who can look at it for you.
yes one who say he has a look and never turns up when he says and the other is mechanic and trying his best. lol. but he has only access to the standard workshop diagnostic laptop.
we fixed everything else and done what needed doing.
even the blowers worked again. until the driver side developed the same fault again. so ordered a new unit to replace.
i just thought get the pump and replace the thing and done with.
got a 1996 there is too much electronics in it.
the key was my own fault by trying get a new housing which didnt work out easy but working now.
On Landy Zone main home page which shows all the different forums there is one called International Rescue. This is where members who are willing to help each other. You could see if there is anyone nearby with diagnostics who would help out for beer, tea, coffee, cake, biscuits etc Worth a look
