airbag has marks/cracks on dashboard, please advise

Hi everyone, Im new to all this, hope you can help me.

Im looking to buy a 2007 RR Sport, I noticed this marks/cracks/lines on the dashboard at the passenger side, right where the airbag is, does it mean the airbags deployed/crashed or is this normal?

Thanks for any advise you can share!

So is that normal dashboard drying out and cracks or do you think the car was crashed and airbags deployed?

If it's normal for the dash to dry out and crack, quality is crap.
It sounds suspicious to me, maybe the airbag has deployed and the old cover has been put back.
I'd look for a better car.

Yeah agreed, my 25year old + fender doesn't even have a cracked dash!!!

It would help if we knew your location, if you are in the middle of a dessert with temperatures in the 120's them a bit of cracking is understandable. See that the handlebars are on the left.:)

Yes sorry, Im in the Mayan Riviera, Mexico, its hot but no real extremes of any kind(I mean no other modern car has cracked dashboards here, never).. It really looks like the airbag opened, its perfectly cut on the airbag lines.. but then I just found this pic in another forum, its an LR3 dash, looks similar but not as drastic, they have more pics like this and say its a common problem... Plus I saw the same thing on a different RRS, so I wanted to check if anyone knows if this happens with RRS's or if this examples are probably crashed.

If its not clear Ill definitely stay away

Doesn't look like its split

Just looks like the indentation some airbags have

Like a seam along the line of which the airbag deploys

Have you looked at any other models ? do they have the same ?
