Hi All, Here we go again, fix one fault and sure enough you find another. Still I am retired so it keeps me active. The message comes up when I turn the ignition on ( Airbag Fault ) Does anyone know where to start.

With ignition OFF. Check yellow plugs and sockets under front seats they can be stressed and lose contact as the seat is moved. Unplug use contact cleaner then refit, disconnect and refit several times. Switch on ignition and see what you get. DO NOT unplug them with ignition on you could set the bags off. Ideally you should disconnect battery wait twenty minutes then play with plugs.

Thanks your right again. I cleaned plugs with contact cleaner and message has gone.
BUT remember I asked about the compressor reeds, well the compressor is working fine, when I block the pump outlet with my finger it stop the motor, I think that is normal as I rebuilt a spare one and that does the same.
When testing on the road it isa bouncing up and down as though it was on a rubber ball. The light on the dash will not stay illuminated on normal ride hieght. and when I checked the pump when I got home it was red hot.
Any Ideas

Compressor should not stop with a finger over outlet. Air should be forced past your finger. Think you may have other things going on. Check my EAS post in technical archive.

I have read your technical post, tried all you mentioned but still does not work. Air is been drawn in and comes out but after few seconds with my finger over the outlet the motor stops
I have two compressors on the bench testing and both do the same thing. I cannot see what would stop the motor..

Either you have the strongest finger muscles on the planet or the compressor motors are duff.

I use my middle finger, after 50years of driving HGVs and using it to give sign language to idiot drivers, I would say it is quite strong, lol.
I have managed to find one off one of the members, so I shall try that and see what happens.
