Hi
Can anyone one tell me if they have had a problem with rear air bags as I have taken one off and it looks like the previous owner has used agrinder to skim the top down to seat the bag as I am having trouble getting it to seat properly, any info would be much appreciated.

Mine were a close fit in the upper housing but went in easily by hand:D

many thanks it just the air inlet front goes in ok but the back don`t and I can`t get the pin in.

Your not installing Arnott GenIII's by any chance because a mate of mine had to grind some welds of his so it would seat properly for the clips to engage.

I had to scrape the remaining road dirt out of the top mount on mine.
I then push fitted the top of the airbag at an angle which allowed me to fit the pressure pipe, locate the bottom of the airbag and clip, then lift the suspension, airbag will locate itself, fit top clip.

PS. I fitted Dunlop Airbags
