cleaned out the intercooler on my td5 yesterday, it made some difference!! previously had a problem with what seemed to be under fueling and the ecu going into limp mode, now all of a sudden its no problems and i can comfortably reach 70mph, not a bad days work in fairness!!

Must have had a fair bit of crap in it for it to make that much difference. Maybe you also had a leaky intercooler hose and you've fixed that ?
No matter, its the end result thats important.
