DVLA still handed the new owner of my stolen series 3 the v5 even though I told them it was stolen.
One thing I did notice was chassis number for V5 was incomplete and missing digits!!
DVLA and V5 have nothing to do with ownership, just raking in tax and any fines due, they would rather have a dodgy car they can get money from than one missing that they cantShould have taken legal action AGAINST the DVLA
Have you contacted the police yet? How did the police get your number? The V5 doesn't have a phone number linked to it, etc...
Thought i would let you all know its mine . Had police inspector out(proper cop in marked rangie and gun) Said when he arrived he didnt know if it belonged to me but was pretty sure it didnt belong to the other guy. Showed him my chassis number and he was happy to say then that it belonged to me. Turns out the other guy had it on a late model S3!! servo brakes and everything so i belive that is post 75? Now just to wait for the DVA to get back to me. Although cop did say I can go ahead and use plates from now.
