what is the best way to care for my landy after taking it off road and getting the underneath all muddy? should i spray it all off from underneath?

Yup best advice would be to clean it with a toothbrush gets into all that nooks and crannies may take you a while! Just remember to clean the toothbrush afterwards otherwise you may have dirtier teeth than before!

I always use one of these oversize Dishwasher that you`ll get on Fleebay.

Tried to put it into a tumbledryer but that might cause some dents

Some reasonably good advice and some silly suggestions there. I find the best way is to drive it into the sea (if you are lucky enough to live by the coast.) The salty water not only works as an anti-sceptic the sand particles will help to scour off the dried mud and when the water dries is leaves a nice white powder coating.

But please, do NOT put it on it's roof (as suggested above) to clean or inspect the underside, the loose change down the back of the seats will fall out and you'll wonder where all your endearing, little, mysterious rattles have gone when you are driving it.

a land rover in the sea? there will be no point worrying about mud after that

just leave it, the mud will fall off when its ready

Land rovers are self cleaning - eventually the paint/steel the mud is stuck to goes rusty and it falls off, taking the mud with it.

Just thought I'd mention....I use my own power washer. Great as I wash it all off and it runs down the driveway onto the path n road! (tho most of it is well watered down by time it gets to bottom of the drive)...Just seen next door neighbour using his powerwasher cleaning the avenue..path and road. The best part is that he must have used a very high pressure dirt blaster attachment cos he's washed up the crappy tarmac covering the potholes the pikey council put down last year! :doh:avenue now looks like the RAF have used it for fookin bombing raids! fun in the 4x4s but a bit ****e for nextdoors kia ****box LMAO!!
...though we have the cleanest road in manchester at the mo I'm guessing. He mustve been out there all day...silly old fart!
