Advice on a 90?

Hi lads, joined this forum hoping that you can help me whether to get this or not.

1985 LAND ROVER DEFENDER LR 90 4C GREEN 200 tdi fitted | eBay

been offered it for 1750. I'm a massive 90 fan but I know nothing about them.. Just one of those cars i've always wanted.

So do you lot reckon its a good buy?

Make sure you do a HPI check and check the vin/engine numbers against the V5!

The guy sounded really geniune (I know he's going to) but he said he just doesn't like it

Also, he says he still hasn't received the V5 log book yet, so how can I check the V5 number? Or is that a silly question? Sorry lads.

I wouldn't buy a car when i couldn't see the V5 but you can do a hpi check and check the vin number with them to see if its the same - if its not WALK!!!

it is illegal to sell a vehicle without the v5. He wants it gone by sunday?? doubt he will have the v5 by then.

Not get insurance? 200Tdi and 300Tdi are both 2.5l turbo diesel
