Hi All,

Just thought i'd tell people my latest bit of experince with adrian flux, and i must say it is bloody awfull.

Last week i had my reneawl threw on my disco and like evryone else i tried to see if i could get my quote abit cheaper. So the lady that i was on the phone to said "ok lets run threw a new quote for you" so she was asking me all the normal questions and then it came to my occupation and i stated " that i may possibly be changing my job later in the year...told what it was hopefully going to be but at the moment i was still doing my excisting job etc".

So we came to the end of the questions and i was told my quote and it had shot up by £1200. so as you would expect i said no thanks and would like to take up the renewal price that was sent threw the post to me. Then the lady stated sorry you cant have that price any more as you have told us that you have changed or are going to change your job........But as i kept saying i asked for a quote, so technically i was still window shopping.I guess they don't work like that.

well needless to say i was not best pleased and am really struggling to get a fair price now due to my hounesty.

Anyway sorry for the little moan but i know that theres a Adrian Flux rep who comes on here some times so hopeing he reads this. Just wanted to give people the heads up as well.

all the best
Kyle

With my last insurer, if you phoned and just questioned something that might probably maybe happen, how would you be covered, that counts as you being a higher risk so will push up your premiums too.

I am still curious how those windscreen repairs work through your insurance (would your screen be covered after having it repaired once?) but don't want to take the risk my current insurer is the same.

Not had a problem with them and found them to be more accommodating than other insurers when it came to changing my details and the vehicle spec.

Fear not tho people, it gets better. I have since phoned them back up today to check that i was still coverd, well guess what........ I was informed that my policy was canceled as of friday as my circumstances had changed....... As i informed them again nothing has changed but it could possibly change later in the year like any bodys job could......!!!! Thank fully i didnt do any driving over the weekend as most my time was spent looking for new insurance inbetween fixing the bloody landy.....!!! LOL
