Hi all, I trust you're all keeping well.
Long time no posts but I have a slight misting on one pipe, see pic.
Q1. Does anyone know if the pipe goes to the front ram or the pump (haven't had time to have a proper look but think it's the top one from the valve block).
Q2. Anyone know the part no. ?
The Jaguar/LR classic parts list I use no longer shows the ACE components apart from the pump.
Apart from regular servicing the D2 hasn't missed a beat. Many thanks in advance.
page 60.7 of the w/s manual is no help for pipe layout .

Found this.

Does it have an attenuator?

If so may get as a spare
Hi, looks like I need RQB000320 (top hole on valve block to ACE ram) as long as my 'quick look' at the pipes is right.
I'll have a proper look at the weekend. Does anyone know if this is the pipe with the attenuator in it ?
Typical these things happen just when the tax, £415, is due at the end of the month along with the insurance ! Just hope I can get away with the one pipe for now🤞.

Mine all cracked on the flanges

Hi all, having had a proper look at the leaking pipe (exactly where it goes to on the valve block) it actually goes to the bottom of the V/B to the ACE reservoir (one of the two piece pipes).
According to the LR parts list (see link) I need pipe 14 (RQB000370) & pipe 12 (RQB000300) for diesel engines up to c/no 3A812791 (my c/no starts 1A7) BUT..... according to Britpart pipe 14 should be used with RQB000290 (which according to LR is for petrol engines) :vb-groan2:.
Does anyone know if the diesel & petrol ACE pipework is the same ?
I wanted to get all the 'right' bits before I strip it down (as it looks like all the rads will have to come out, unless anyone knows different) so it can be done the same day & without having to mess about sending bits back. Many thanks in advance.

Hi all, I had the D2 mot'd then re-taxed it at the end of February then set about replacing the leaking ACE pipe. The leaking pipe (bottom of the valve block) came out of the VB ok but despite it being one of the two piece pipes you have to take the pipe above it out as well because they're intertwined above the chassis out rigger 🙄 so guess what happened when removing the other pipe, yep it snapped of in the VB/seal 😡😡🤬🤬🤬 (so I purchased all the necessary pipes etc £485's worth). Despite attempts to remove the broken pipe it wouldn't shift so I resigned myself to going down the road of capping off the rams & using it with the bars locked (even bought & fitted the idler & belt & removed the ACE pump) so I could remove the VB & have a proper go at it on the bench. So being busy & with lack of motivation (I even sorned it at the end of June) I left it until today when I thought I'd have one last attempt (before removing the VB) with an easy out & using grips to pull straight, levering against the VB, it came out🙂. So with renewed vigor I'll spend hours at the weekend 🤞 removing the old seals, re-fit the ACE pump/pipe work & get it back OTR 🙂. Thanks for all yours input & if I get the time at the weekend........
It's worth trying the easy out 'trick' if you're in the same boat, before removing the ACE system. All the best.
