yes but as long as the DCVs dont click on the circuit test the problem is most probably with the circuit or the ECU cos i doubt that both are dead... the resistances of the solenoids should be as i told you...the ECU is suspect cos if it was some open circuit to the DCVs it should have recognise it as fault IMO albeit the ACE ECU is one of the most strange ones from all

I may borrow an ECU to test, but I do want to check all 3 solenoids for resistance, open circuit or leaking to earth.

The later ones do look liable to moisture ingress!

If broken I may need to buy a second hand RRS AES valve block just for the coils.

Actually Fery do you know what resistance values the valve block for RR Sport AES solenoids are? (Same as Discovery 2?)

i've never measured one of that also be aware that the values i told you are from my vehicle's original block which is the early type though as long as the ECU is the same i presume the solenoid's resistances should be very close
 
All sorted guys, few scary moments thou.
It’s the first time that I have disabled anything took a while to disable the ACE as didn’t realise you had to save the settings.

Current plan is to check all 3 solenoids for continuity and earth and if faulty change, if not must be ECU

Currently checking Ebay for very late valve blocks
 
Late model ECU on the way.

Rude not to buy it and if not ECU it is a spare like my spare SLABS

£12 including postage
