thanks for the input. I was thinking about using the factory metal lines and not use any hose. Main reason is that the actual lines are still in good condition so i figured no need to over complicate things. From what I am seeing who did this had to modify the block a little bit to be able to fit the wrench but overall not too hard. Something like this:
