Disco 2 Abs warning light

I've just finished replacing the steering ball joints and CV on my daughters D2 I also replaced the HUB assembly which came with a new ABS wire. I have just fired up the car but now getting ABS warning light on dash!! Does the new sensor need to be married to ECU?

Not normally, just plug and play.

It had been started whilst everything was stripped and disconnected would this make a difference?

You need to drive it. Above 7mph if i remember correctly. Light should then go out.

That’s what I was hoping to hear before I had to go buy a diagnostic tool. Will give it a run tomorrow. I did try it back and forth in workshop but not at any speed

Took it out for a drive ABS light went out before I got to bottom of road

Just fingers crossed now for its MOT tomorrow
