Iv bought myself some 2k acrylic now so going to give that a go, Iv got a disco bonnet kicking about so going to use that as a test piece. I bought aircraft blue, no idea what it's going to turn out like but if I don't like it I think I'll just buy a tin of gloss black.
Hi aaron would you consider selling the paint
Hi aaron send me your address I'll send payment
Will send you a pm later bud.
Yep the bloody things can drive you mad and then you see one driving down the road and the love affair starts all over again
Keep at it mate, you are doing a grand job
It gets a bit disheartening when things go wrong, but that's the trouble with using 2nd hand parts. You've done a fantastic job up now give yourself a break grab the fishing rod or golf clubs or whatever rocks your boat and in a few weeks with a fresh breath start again. Good luck.

+1 You're doing a great job. But as robertcoby said, sometimes a break does you the world of good. Helps me when a few things go wrong on the trot and it gets you down a bit. After a few days off I can't wait to get back at it with spirits lifted.
Things are always going to go wrong though, mate. This is what I keep telling myself If they didn't have problems we wouldn't be needing to work on them! That would just be boring
did i just buy a fuel gauge off you on ebay ?
reciept just came in from aaronmorris1989
Showing off again. How do you get the casing looking so clean? So no landrover today, took heed of advice and left it be for this weekend.
Although I can't just sit and do f*ck all, so I decided to start stripping the transfer box I've got for a rebuild.
Got it all stripped, and started cleaning it all up, hopefully some bits will turn up in the week and I'll start re-assembly once I've had a couple more hours cleaning everything.
Have done a couple lately and quite enjoy it.

Bought a nice little impact gun last week too, which the last one pretty much paid for, much nicer to use than the big 18v one when it's not actually needed.
Not that I need it for a home tinkerer, I just like buying tools

Would you say it's hard to rebuild a transfer box wouldn't mind giving it a go myself. Oh and I've got the complete 18v fuel range by milwaukee amazing pieces of kit.
