My names Dean. I purchased my defender 90 back last december to get me through the winter months and my other cars simply wouldnt of delt with potential snow. Now winter is coming again ive decided to go other it with a fine tooth comb and rebuild it all properly as the previous owner seemed a bodge artist at heart! So heres when i first purchased it:

4 days later:

Now 12 hours after stripping her down she looks like this:

I have a feeling there maybe a blog on the way and the odd question or two! Even though ive been doing alot of reading and video watching.

Light pods will be going on the roof. The roof needs a bit of work doing to it as it leaks. I often get a waterfall effect when dropping down the kurb first thing in the morning!

Restoration thread will be started today. Im currently working out how to get the engine out without an engine crane as my one got thieved not to long ago!

Cheers for the welcome.

Haha thats a pretty good excuse. If only it was on the passenger side though it would be more entertaining! Project thread has now been started in the defender section.
