As far as i'm aware...the job situation in the uk is not too clever..if i was an unemployed mechanic i'd do it...ffs, its 12 weeks..and what a cracking thing to add to a CV..
You mean if you were an unemployed mechanic with no family or home

Do people on the dole get 1000 a month? I ask that seriously..
Plus if your other half wont let you go away for 3 months to earn cash, get experience and improve chances of getting a job then she aint worth being with. Young kids maybe a diff story...but i know folks that are away for that long in the desert or on the rigs...
Glad to see folk are talking about it now!

It's not what they are looking for but I like your lateral thinking! I'll find out.
If they have basic mechanical skills then for instance a netbook with decent battery life and even satellite broadband and a digital camera
(expensive, but not compared to paying someone)
plus you could put electronic manuals such as RAVE on it
Buster has guides and sure we can set them right on few issues
If this was the same time next year... Without a doubt. Free trip to Africa in a gap year, whilst being paid to **** about with Landys and do abit of off roading? **** yeah
Can i recommend posting on Land Rover UK Forums They have some members from South Africa who might know someone or something?
Somtimes you can justify the wages for a chance to do somthing different and its only 3 months so should be a walk in the park TBH more like a paid holiday working on good old Landys.
