The clue is in the title - Just registered, and I have found your forum chat very helpful and informative, so a big thankyou to all the experts and experience out there that (unknowingly:p) helped guide me in the purchase of my P38:)

Doubtless there will be (hopefully not too many) issues to deal with using my trusty socket set, so roll on the fun!:D:D:D

Nice first post! And welcome!

I wouldn't limit it to your socket set though - hopefully you'll also have a multimeter, some silicon sealent, a big trolley jack and a really, really big hammer!!! :D

Welcome to the mad house and as Mike says you will need a really big hammer oh and a fair bit of folding but from my own experience well worth the time and cash- in fact I need something to go wrong every now and then to keep me busy so i have not been disappointed hope you enjoy ownership and this forum as much as I do /have

As Mike just said GREAT first post & welcome to our humble home in Cyber-Space....

However you did forget the most important tools in yer "Kit"...........

1 X Gallon of Petrol

1 X Box of Swan Vestas

For when it all goes HORRIBLY WRONG .................................BURN THE BASTID!!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D

Yes, and excellent insurance cover. I mean, err, I didn't say that - oh no, the incrimination!! ;)

Back to reality - any pics of your motor? There's forum rule you see - no pics = didn't happen. I.e. "I towed an articulated lorry in the snow" No pics = didn't happen. So right now, you're P38 is just a figment of your imagination... ;)

Thankyou for your warm welcomes - Mike, yes I have a suitable 'percussion tool' for persuading difficult items to cooperate!
I have no idea how to get pics on the thread yet, but I have put a couple into an album, including the best effort I can make for a gimp suit!

Sorted!
