So I currently rebuilding my 300Tdi 90 and was planning on spraying the panels myself then fitting to the 90. Well after reading about 2k paint and not having anywhere to paint it other than my single or back garden (in a gazebo with sides) I've decided to put it back together and get a paint shop to carry out the work. Also need to get the build moving again.
So any advice on how to do this? engine in or out - As my suspension is all new and no weight on the front even at full travel I cannot get the shocks bottom bolt in so I was going to fit engine, boxes, exhaust, props, etc. I going to buy a galvanized rear door and my go whole hog with new front doors as mine need work. I've got a new galv bulkhead and was planning on a full paint job on this but this will not be possible if I start fitting bits. I've also added galv tub cappings and replaced rear tub floor and removed rear bulkhead (which will be replaced with bulkhead delete bar)
