There supposed to be good Sam, the Mercs use that sort.
1k is sill underestimated! I'de say 1500 is realistic. still cheaper, but its new territory for most.
I've been half tempted to fit on like Sam said but the extra heat is an issue and also.. do I need it?

not not not!!!needs must..i have no cash..yet sitting next to me is a 340ish hp s/c 4.6 thats ready to install once i have sorted s/c inlet (see will thor throttle fit post soon to come..lol).thats cost well under 1000..well well under

thats including cam,tappets,s/c etc....its all about knowing people and asking, searching ebay..WRONG spelling, listings finishing at wrong times (when people sleeping) etc..

i wudnt, you keep quoting a turners top hat linered 4.6 for price

no not turners..they are not the only peps doing rv8's!!

(now real steel told me different..and i was not buying from them as they could not supply gems style cam..their usa blank supplier only does early usa buick ones...SO prehaps we should avoid real steel if they lieing to us??)

back to top hat liners..search tvr etc suppliers..cant remember who, but if wanted willing to search again...liners 800 machining 200?

first thing one needs i must admit is to get a good machine shop on side..ie the one i send ****e loads of work to from work..i dont mean slip in my stuff with works, cos thats stealing..i dont do that..but if i give them "x" cummins engines to machine per year then its easier to get a deal..espically if you show them how passionate one is about your rangies..people like doing things that are apreciated, it makes a big difference, ie my machine shop have seen the end results, driven them in her..it makes a differnce..i know i like to be appreciated at work..
