Disco 1 300TDI No Start

I have read on another forum that edc pumps weren't fitted to Defenders, Disco only.
Oops, we are talking about Disco, ignore me!

I double checked in the rave, it's simply the EGR throttle position sensor.

What are they linked up to?
I took off the sensor & still it did not run correctly.
Does rave show any other linked electrics ?

I don't think it showed anything else.
That's odd, mine acts the same with the sensor connected or disconnected. Is your EGR blanked?

It was someone else’s motor I was working on last weekend.
EGR blanked but wires still connected

Im getting ready to throw a parts cannon at it. Still cannot for the life of me get the disco running. New lift pump fitted, fitted a "boost pin" and followed all instructions as to not mess this up.
I have noticed today however that the fuel filter bleed screw didnt go "tight" today so removed the screw and it was full of thread swarf - so used threadsealant on this hoping that this is my actual issue and is drawing in air from here

But im pretty much out of ideas now without throwing the parts cannon at it.
