Open to offers (or ideas) is my beloved 1998 300tdi 110.
Only considering selling as I am off to Canada for 4+ months next year and will not have the time for it. Mechanically sound except: Likely pinion bearing failure (salisbury axle) happened last week, the day I was collecting the keys from my new house! The misses was unimpressed! Drove it home with shafts and prop off.
Completely rebuilt by me last year on a Richards galvanised chassis.
Puma (2013) bulkhead
Home made wiring loom and dashboard- simple but functional
All brand new suspension components
Front axle rebuilt, brand new flanges, swivels, cvs and half shafts.
Brand new wheel bearings all round
New clutch
Engine and gear box brilliant. Cambelt done 10k ago. 155k miles. MOT'd until Sept 19.
The negatives
Before the next MOT: the exhaust will require new mounts (currently 3inch pipe sat on the chassis, very loud and function but probably won't go through a test!)
Requires windscreen washers- I haven't got around to it yet.
Location near Warminster. (Wiltshire)
