47 bloody hell thats good, i am running 33 inch tyres with a few other bits an pieces done as well so it does tend to keep the mpg a little low, i dont get 47 from my vectra 2.2dti which is pretty good towing my 23 foot tin tent at 39mpg.

im averaging 30 - 35 mpg in my 200tdi and i dont drive very slow , that much better than my brother in laws shogun 2.8tdi , he is lucky if he gets 22 mpg on the run
It did 28 towing a P6 rover on a twin axle car trailer and that was to Leeds and back over the Pennines on the M62.
It did 26 towing a 26foot caravan from Milford Haven to Warrington via Builth Wells over the mountains and it was flying at 3 to 4000 rpm all the way. Returned 45+ regular on motorway runs but sticking to 55 mph.
Crackin engine on fuel, did regular 30mpg round town shopping etc, used to fill up at Asda when we did the weekly shop and I checked the fuel when I got home, it did better with the straight through exhaust on as well.
Have to sell now though as I just picked up me 300tdi and gearboxes, pity the slitty wasn't permenant four wheel drive or I would have shoved the 2.8 With gearboxes etc in the 110.
