Well,i got the rear prop shaft on and the front one has lined up a treat,
transfer box mount chassis holes line up good to so cant be bad,
all i need is (hard to find) metal mounts for tranny box and i car realy get to work with the reasemble rear end,
hello mate,
have you tried to adjust the props. they should slide in and out on the splined shaft, if not try pumping some grease in them to loosen them off. mine were seazed and had to free them off before they would fit. (by the way ive just done the same conversion as malc) also what props are you using? I used the original 90 front prop on the rear, and the rangey skinny front prop on the front and it works a treat.
mark got some props for a classic if they are any good cheers stuart
as for cams i can get a good deal on a piper unit
ok im running on v8 3.9 auto box with borg warner transfer box useing origenal chassis mounts from a range rover classic useing the origenal chassis holes, why are my props to short ?
its your borg transfr box makes em odd as it did on my 110 i needed bout 4 inch adding to my rear prop
something doesn't sound right to me as I've got the same 3.9 v8 with auto box and BW transfer box. My gear box is bolted to the chassis using the RRC mounts and the original holes in the chassis yet I had no probs with my props. I'm using the skinny front prop off a rrc as my front prop and the original front prop off my 90 as my rear prop.
