3.5 V8 Rebuild

plans for today - get the engine completed as much as possible (minus painting and any bolts that are missing). need to have a butchers at running trough this too. V8 Oil pump

err3677 is just later replacement for 612710 so will fit

Grrr been waiting a week for the parts from rimmer brothers, took a look at the emails that where sent shortly after ordering and nothing.... Took a look at the pdf invoice in one of the emails only to see a small note on the bottom stating my card number was incorrect and to contact them! GRRRRRRRR

its sooooooooooooo annoying when they do that!!!!!

I am still waiting on most of the bits from Aus, but tbh as they are making them from scratch I will cut them some slack

Engine is almost done now, trying to tie up the lose ends, one I have is the plenum chamber water heater (2 pipes) ones goes to the inlet manifold, but where does the other go?

radiator, has it's own inlet on rad to attach to.

Picked up some bits from tesco


Forgot my dam oil filter so just packed the oil pump and left it, had problems with the ARP bolts for the oil filter, one was to long so I cut it down a small bit.

i think I only put the Vaseline around the gears, was a while back mind you

Do'h! well ill be pre spinning the pump before starting so I think it'l b ok (I hope)
+ once it warms up it will all turn to liquid anyways.
