Ive googled this and followed instrution that obviously arent correct as its not starting so i wondered if anyone might of done this before

They are correct so you must be doing something wrong as the firing orders given are right!

Should be somewhere near the corner of the timing cover shouldn't it ?
Can't remember as I've been dealing with chevy/GM stuff for ages now which is dead centre of the valley
