I think that man is a grade A idiot, saying the shell bearings only have oil supplied once each crank revolution!
They post it as 'entertainment', most of their stuff is opinions loosely based on someone else's experiences with a stiff ignoring of engineering practices, facts and anything else they find inconvenient to their view. Don't criticise them in the presence of one of there doting followers though, they're worse than the Taylor Swift lot!

Not sure its crank snapped but as suggested above do not run it, needs investigating, drop the oil have a look for bits, as suggested check cam pulley
Someone suggested taking the belt off the crankshaft pulley just to check if the noise is still there

I did that, see video below, it still makes the same noise

As the crankshaft is turning, does that mean the crankshaft is ok?

ANY SUGGESTIONS? THANKS

No don't take belt off any of the pulleys is what is called an interference engine would be a disaster, would reccomend as lynall said remove cam cover look at cam pulleys, looking deeper with this engine is quite involved cam cover and rocker covers are about as much as you can do without getting too involved, very hard for diagnosis with record sound, but don't think it's broken crank as this normally causes unbelievable vibration/shaking but be careful not to cause further damage

Thanks for your response.
Do you know anyone qualified to diagnose?
I will happily pay for someone to diagnose and fix.
I’m in Romford.

The accessories belt is not the same as the cam belt

If the crank is turning at the front and you have drive from the rear, I would have thought that the crank is still in one piece. When the crank failed on my Porsche, there was a hell of a noise and no drive.

It's so hard to tell from a video as you can't gauge where the noise is coming from but it could be a big end bearing, or cam follower, split inlet/exhaust manifold (although it does sound more like heavy interference), broken valve... so many potentials here.

One thing you can be sure of though, every time you run it for another video, you'll make it worse. It needs to be stripped and inspected mechanically.

The td v6 engine in all these motors ,are prone to the bottom end bearings turning in the big end caps ,n shutting off oil feed too the crank then it spins its shells and all goes wrong , It in my opinion the shells should have locating tabs on its shells .In that would stop them turning in the bottom end ,but they dont they are held buy pressure, press fit ,so the video could be the beginning of the end ,bottom end starting to knock or it could be a knocking dry cam follower....think u said the cam belt got changed ,might have jumped a tooth.

Well the main dealer who installed the cam belt has been shut down, the sister company is taking the car back tomorrow to diagnose, as it may be a warranty issue. How can they tell if anything went wrong when they installed cam belt? i.e. it jumped a tooth? Or something the main dealer did wrong? I did tell the main dealer since cambelt change the car doesn’t sound right. But again, they have shut down

The locating tab is to aid assembly, i can't see it would stop a shell from turning
