The car was 6 months old and it was removed from my house without the use of my two keys. (i still have them)
it has never been to a dealer and i have not released car and key to any third parties since I took del.
Land Rover say this is impossible !
well I dont have my car !
Are they secure ?
 
if LR say it cannot be possable does that mean that the supplying dealers workshop monkeys have made another key before delivery and are selling the keys and address's to the scrotes? Just a thought, could be a line of enquiry to follow or pass on to the Police

So if it's not possible and you have the two keys are Land Rover replacing it for free then?:rolleyes:

Also - was it sat on the dealer forecourt at all, i.e. test driven? If so someone could have done a key copy on a test drive... unlikely but possible all the same.
 
key copy would require test book - hence my referance to supplying dealer, it happened at a Porsche dealer way back crooked employee copying keys whilst pdi'ing new motors then selling keys and address
 
from professional experience, the L322 security cannot be bypassed, theres only two ways (AFAIK), i'd reckon on the key scenario or someone blocking the radio transmitter. out of interest, how far from the car do you keep the keys? and does it have passive entry (little black button on door handle?)

only way is to clone the key i would go to the boys in blue first the supplying dealer has a scrote in there mist good luck in getting it back to its right owner
 
may seem a silly question , did you ever try both keys to lock and unlock the car ? , does sound very ickky tho, only six months old and gone walk about , i'd be screaming to have the dealer system checked for key copying or the key's checked to make sure they are the same ,chips and all.
 
take it you didnt have a tracker fitted? always makes me laugh £60 grand motor yet wont pay £350 for tracking device

Thought most insurance companies insisted on having tracker fitted on high value motors??


Bit thin on details aren't we. It's common to quote reg number, colour, interior, distinguishing marks etc etc :confused: when reporting a landy stolen. oh and :nopics:

From factory, only 2 keys are provided and numbers logged (At factory, Not dealer)

Hence i modified my post, forgot this is a public forum :doh:
 
It's funny that I was arguing with somebody on here the other day over landies goin missing. I said only way new cars can go missing is if somebody had keys for it. He was adament that theives can take cars like rangeys without keys. I think somebody has spat dummy out
 
you can get entry tools for newer locks-but I will say no more
