200tdi wiring

Hi, 200tdi engine and gearbox now installed, bulk head is next but does anyone have a wiring diagram for the the 200tdi into a series 3? I would like to connect the wiring and fuel line to check that the engine starts and with the cluch connected check it drives OK.

not sure that you will require a diagram:

connect starter and alternator as they were on your old engine
connect the fuel solenoid to your switched live
don't worry about glow plugs you shouldn't need them

To fire the old dog up you need to put a 12v supply to the diesel pump and that is how you stop it cut power to the pump (ignition)

If it was a petrol, wire the old lt coil wire to the fuel pump.
